
We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Rupak Goswami back to the Global healthShare Initiative and McDonald-
Nandi group at UC Davis as a Visiting Associate Professor and incoming Research Fellow with the Japan
Foundation Indo-Pacific Partnership (JFIPP) program. Dr. Goswami’s current research explores cognitive
approaches to policy design for climate-smart agriculture in the Indo-Pacific region. Learn more about his

Goswami.html). Rupak’s JFIPP research will continue through 2025–26 at CSIRO in Adelaide and
PRIMAFF in Tokyo.
Back home in India, Professor Goswami serves as an Associate Professor at the Ramakrishna Mission
Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute in Kolkata (https://narendrapur.rkmvu.ac.in/dr-rupak-
goswami) He previously collaborated with the us at UC Davis, as a Fulbright-Nehru Visiting Fellow in
2018–19 (https://globalaffairs.ucdavis.edu/fulbright/scholars-visiting/goswami). We’re happy to have him
back in our community and look forward to the insights his work will bring to global agricultural policy.
