Kantharakorn (Korn) Macharoen, PhD graduate from McDonald-Nandi lab, won a dissertation award from the National Research Council Thailand (NRCT). Each year the NRCT grants approximately 50 dissertation awards to Thai citizens who received their doctoral degrees less than 5 years ago, in recognition of their outstanding research. Additionally, the NRCT also presents a plaque of honor to their major advisors.
